Watercolors

Tom Gaither became interested in watercolor many years ago, and although he has no formal art school education he is not entirely self-taught. "I wanted to be a watercolorist and to that end I read everything I could find about the medium. And my private instruction came from friends - who just happened to be some of the country's best painters."

Tom began his career in 1974 with pen-and-ink and still enjoys it, but watercolor is now his favorite medium. He has mixed the two art forms successfully to produce art prints for the University of Kentucky, Ohio State University, Thomas More College, Bowling Green University, Miami University, Northern Kentucky University, Chase College of Law, the U.S. Postal Service, high schools, cities and corporations.
